When you pull up at the church, feel free to park on one of three sides of the building. We have several paved parking spaces on the SE 5th Street North side, in case you are visiting the church office or heading to an event in the sanctuary. If you are attending an event in our sanctuary, you can also park on the grass in front of the main entrance on E Canal Street North. However, if you are attending one of our programs in the Fellowship Hall, you may certainly choose to park on the grass near our SE 4th Street North entrance.
Every Sunday morning, we hold our adult Sunday School class in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45am. Our worship services are held on Sundays at 11:00am. All are welcome. Some come to church dressed casually, and others enjoy dressing up. We don't care which you choose. We're just glad you've chosen to join us.
The nursery is available during our worship service. Just sign your child in prior to entering the sanctuary. The nursery is easily located in the main corridor. Children's Church is offered each week. Elementary school children will be dismissed during the worship service.
Our worship style can best be described as a blended service, meaning that we have incorporated both traditional and contemporary worship music into our service. In each service, we typically sing three hymns, accompanied by both piano and organ. Our Praise Team will also lead in at least one contemporary worship song, often accompanied by the piano.
Every Sunday morning, you can expect to hear an expository sermon that addresses the original context of the passage, the objective meaning of the text, and its relative application for life today.
Our church is currently engaged in a 3-year journey through the Gospel of Luke, in which every pericope is understood, both in its content and in its relation to the larger themes of the Gospel of Luke, the New Testament, and the Bible in its entirety.
